Curious Minds Los Angeles (CMLA) is a design studio led by Erin Cuevas and Jana Masset Collatz, operating at the intersection of the human body, digital media, and physical environment. While rooted in architectural practice, our work extends across disciplines and scales including scenography, brand identity, and product design. Inspired by neuroaesthetics, we explore the psychological and behavioral impacts of our media-rich world. Our name embodies the studio’s vision to bring the subjects of our curiosities - nature, science, performance art, materiality, animation, and storytelling - into tangible design realities that provoke thought and emotion. We collaborate with clients and brands while also producing self-directed projects and research.
